When babies want anything, they cry. And Biologically, they are wired to cry in pitches ten times their size. Those mini homo sapiens cry when they want to eat, cry when they want to sleep, cry when they want to play, cry when they want to be babied - and keep crying till you hear or respond to them.
As a Founder, Executive, or growth team member, your customers are your babies. You often think they aren’t speaking because you aren’t trying to listen or you’re not trying to see from their point of view. Your customers constantly seek your attention regarding pain points, and it’s your duty to listen to them.
After all, how do you even want to satisfy their experience if you’re not listening to them?
Thinking of aspects for innovation? Speak to your customers.
Trying to test a feature? Speak to your users.
Trying to eliminate a feature? Talk to them.
Asking them is just as important as taking action on their feedback. And as a growth expert, your role is to implement this data.
I would not tire of reiterating how critical listening to your users is.
